Functional Medicine focuses on identifying and addressing the root cause of the disease/ illness. All factors like diet, genetics, hormonal, prescriptions, over the counter medications, and lifestyles are evaluated with a comprehensive exam and intake to get to the root cause. It is a proactive approach to health care that includes advanced diagnostic testing. Common testing can include: Blood, Urine, SIBO testing, Stool testing, Food Intolerance, hormone, Mycotoxin, heavy metals and more.
